Not on our beaches

Our goal : to reach 100,000 signatures

What can I do ?

  1. Sign our petition.
Today, the European Union recognizes petitions as the source of creation for new laws.
  2. Consume smartly and sustainably
Avoid single use and disposable products (cleaning wipes, rasors, plastic dishware ...)
  3. Reduce your packaging, reduce your waste
Each European generates 520 kg of household waste per year. Packaging represents about 50% of the contents of our trashcans.
  4. Re-use and repair
Plastics are high among the 12 most common types of trash found in our oceans. Switch to reusable bags and sustainable, drurable products. Give your old things to organizations like Emmaüs.
  5. Throw away your trash in the appropriate containers
Countless small objects thrown away in toilets (cotton swabs, tampons) enter the water treatment cycle and end up in the ocean. More than 2/3 of batteries are thrown away in mixed household trash or in nature...
  6. Sort your trash so that it can be recycled
Use specific trash cans for recycling and trash.
  7. Limit your impact on the places you visit
80% of the waste in our oceans comes from continental sources, according to the United Nations Program for the Environment. Don’t leave your trash, and pick up all else that you find.
